NY Circle of Translators, March 2011
We attended the NY Circle of Translators montly meeting where Jon Ritzdorf - globalization engineer - gave a presentation on translation trends. The presentation was followed by a networking dinner among fellow translators.
UN Foundation Clean Cookstoves, September, 2010
The First Lady of Peru talked about the clean cookstove initiative in Peru at the launching of the UN Foundation's Clean Cookstoves project. Emily was the First Lady's interpreter for the presentation.

Emily ran the International Attendee Lounge at the NRF annual convention and assisted the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking attendees.
Multiple Sclerosis Hispanic Awareness Day, November 2010
Emily volunteering for the 4th year as a coordinator of children's activities (facepainting, dancing, drawing...) during the annual MS Hispanic Awareness Day at the Casa Italiana at Columbia University.
